In Easter Darius Knight Team of coaches have partnered with Wandsworth council and delivered a table tennis training camp in Southfields, London. We have received some funds to promote the sport in the area and include a nutritious meal every day as well as drinks. Kids had a fun-filled 4 days of table tennis with competitions each day. We focused on different aspects of the game such as, backhand, and forehand drive, topspin, serve and push.
The week ended with summarising all results from each day and awarding top 3 players with DK merge (tracksuits and t-shirts). The results from the camp were as follows:
